At Custom Patches 4U, we stand behind the quality of every patch we produce. Since most orders are custom-made to your approved specifications, our policy is designed to ensure fairness while protecting the craftsmanship and resources that go into each handcrafted order.
Refund Policy
Stock Products
You may return undamaged stock (non-custom) items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, subject to the restocking fee outlined below.
Custom Orders
Due to their personalized nature, custom orders are not eligible for refunds if correctly produced according to the approved digital proof. To avoid mistakes and ensure your complete satisfaction, we provide a free digital proof for your review and approval before any production begins.
Returns Policy
If your patches arrive with manufacturing defects or do not match your approved proof, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We may request photos of the defective items to assess the issue. Once a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will offer a suitable resolution.
- Eligibility: Only stock products and defective custom orders qualify for returns.
- Condition: Items must be returned in original, unaltered condition and include all original packaging.
- Return Window: You must request a return within 7 days of delivery for defective items, or within 30 days for stock products.
- Shipping Costs — Defective/incorrect orders: We provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
- Shipping Costs — Non-defective returns: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Return Process: Contact info@custompatches4u.com to request a Return Authorization (RA) number before sending any items back. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Product Variations
All custom patches are handcrafted, meaning slight natural variations are a normal part of the production process.
Variations of up to 5% in color, size, or design are considered acceptable and within industry standards. These minor variations are not classified as defects and do not qualify for returns or refunds.
Defective or Unsatisfactory Products
If you believe your order is defective or does not match your approved proof, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt. Returned items will be thoroughly inspected at our facility before any refund or remake is authorized and processed.
Inspection & Outcome
If 6% or more of the products in your order fail inspection due to defects in color, design, or manufacturing, you may choose one of the following resolutions:
- A full remake at no additional cost (estimated production time: 15–20 business days), or
- A full refund (excluding any rush order fees previously charged).
If the products fall within the acceptable 5% variation margin, they will be shipped back to you and you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Order Cancellations
- Non-Rush Orders: May be canceled for a full refund before production begins.
- Rush Orders: Cannot be canceled once the order has been placed and confirmed.
- Production Started: Once molds, setup work, or production has begun, only a partial refund is available (minus applicable setup and mold costs).
- Fully Manufactured Orders: Cannot be canceled or refunded under any circumstances.
Cancellation Fee (Credit Card Orders)
Credit card refunds are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover payment processing costs. No cancellation fee applies to payments made by check or money order.
Shipping Errors
If you receive the wrong order, incorrect items, or experience a quantity shortage, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will promptly correct the issue by reshipping the correct items or issuing a refund for any missing products at no additional cost to you.
Risk of Loss
All purchases made on custompatches4u.com are shipped under a shipment contract. Ownership and all risk of loss transfer to the customer at the point the order is handed to the shipping carrier.
We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders.
Refund Processing
All approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refunded funds to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns of eligible stock (non-custom) items. This fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Returns due to verified manufacturing defects or incorrect items shipped by us are fully exempt from this fee.

We are committed to delivering patches that match your approved proof exactly. If something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right. Our team is available Mon–Fri, 9AM–6PM PST to assist with any concerns.
